Wollongong's Nick Squires would have to be favourite for the opens division with his dominant display in the first half of the year on the Australian Championship Circuit (ACC), Nick is currently in first place on the circuit after 4 events and is in devestating form.Local surfers Phil Watt jnr, Karl Lavis, Luke Nolan and Tim Bilman are expected to provide some stiff opposition.

Last years winner in the over 35's divsion, Gregg Macann will be back to defend his title with the likes of Jez Smith, Robbie Page and Mick Van Opstal out to stop Gregg claming a double.
The over 45's field is wide open with the likes of Phil Byrne, Paul Nichol, Phil Pearson and of course the super keen Andrew Johnson expected to fight it out.

Kalani Ball (Stanwell Park)

The under 18's is a hot field with locals Leroy Davis, Josh Watt and Dane Kettle up against the hot crew from Gerringgong and surrounding suburbs including Doug Chandler, Troy Langedon and Matt Gale.

The under 15's is a great event with the grommets always keen to impress potential sponsors with last years winner Zac Scott up against the Sandon Point duo of Eden Roscoe and Conor Tapsell and Stanwell Parks Kalani Ball defenitly a surfer of the future to watch.
