Adam Robertson Set to Take On World’s Best Again at Bells at the 2010 Rip Curl Pro

Attached Photo – Adam Robertson surfing at last year’s Bells when he sliced through the field defeating, in order, Chris Davidson, Bede Durbidge, Tom Whittaker, Kekoa Bacalso and Fred Patacchia!

The World’s best surfers are at Bells Beach for the Rip Curl Pro with the waiting period set to begin tomorrow and today Victoria’s own Adam Robertson won the Victorian trials and he takes the wild card into the main event!

Everyone is well aware of what Robertson is capable of particularly at his beloved Bells and Winky Pop waves following his sensational 2nd placing at this event last year.

The experienced and super accomplished ASP World Qualifying Series surfer is primed and pumped to give his all and try and repeat his feats from last year – After today’s win he said –

“It’s great to be back in the field, it’s my fifth Rip Curl Pro and I’m relieved to get through the trials , take the wild card and hopefully the waves will turn on at Bells and I’ll surf my best and see what happens – last years 2nd place Bell that I won is a very special trophy and thats what this event is all about – I’m equally if not better prepared than last year and keen to surf – just give us the waves for Easter”...

The Rip Curl Pro’s official waiting period begins tomorrow.

Defending event champion is Joel Parkinson

Current World Champion is Mick Fanning
