Donny is a friend of mine one of the original Scarborough Boys Crew he moved away from Australia about 10 years ago. But Donny loves his water time and this is the latest shots that came into our office as you can see Donny's thirst for waves still gets filled even on the other side of the world. We surfed a spot called lefts and rights. Unfortunately no water shots- you'll have to trust me that it was 6-8 foot sets and 200-300m long rights! We launched the IRB at 730am off Gaviota Park which is a little north of Santa Barbara. Rode for about 30 minutes and got to Lefts and Rights. We couldn't tell how big it was, but pretty soon we saw massive sets rolling in so we got out there and had it all to ourselves for the whole day! It felt like a mini J-Bay. Long rights and when you were done, just kick out and paddle (at that point my two mates in the lineup looked like ants). By the time you get back out there the next sets would roll in. Next time I'll bring a water camera! SEE YOU MATE DONNY
