Evonne Byron took out the Women's final from Lisa Natuzelis ,Alise Bloxham was 3rd place, Karly Skinner 4th , Jasmine Prescud 5th , Jesse Thomas 6th.All receiving some great prizes form Starlet. With some great power surfing Evonne Byron also placed 3rd in the Open's final ahead of Chris Demito, with Nick Squiers 2nd. Local lad Mark Spooner took out the final with some super smooth surfing. In the over 40's division Andrew Johnson from Sandon Point was victorious from Phill Watt, Steve Cox 3rd , Phil Person 4th . The presentation took place at the beach with everyone claiming a great weekend was had by all. Josh Wiess was the winner of a back stage pass to the Jack Johnson concert at the W.E.C March 17th. Adam Thomas was the winner of the major prize of 7days 6 nights aboard Indonesian surf charter boat Surf Dessert Storm, this was completed just as a downpour occurred leaving organizers to pack up everything in the rain. This was followed by a well earned hot shower and a few cleansing beverages at the Ryans hotel. A special thank you to every one who pitched in and helped make this the unique community based surfing festival that it is.
