An insane Finals Day came to a conclusion with an all out battle between 2019 World Champ Italo Ferreira and 2021 World Title contender Morgan Cibilic. Cibilic pushed Ferreira with an excellent 8.80 to bring out his fiery forehand and post an 8.17 before finding an opportunity to showcase his elite progression with a 9.33. The ocean didn't provide any last-second drama as Cibilic couldn't scratch into a wave and the horn sounded to Ferreira's 11th CT win and the new No. 1.

The women's Final finished with two of the event standouts trading excellence. 5x World Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Carissa Moore faced 2024 Rookie of the Year Sawyer Lindblad, and Lindblad's early lead seemed to be eclipsed by Moore's 8.50. But, Lindblad fired back to post a 9.00 and take a commanding 16.67 heat total lead over Moore, who chased an 8.18. Heading into the final minutes, Moore was not to be outdone in New Zealand 16 years after her first CT win and laid in to her ridiculous backhand power to post a 9.40 and take down Lindblad. This marks Moore's most memorable win, her first as a mother as she shared the chair-up with her family and baby in arms to celebrate an amazing victory.
